Astoria, Oregon.
Lovingly restored over the past several years, the Inn is registered in the National Historic Districts, and is an Historic Landmark. Centrally located in Astoria, on the N.W. Oregon coast, this rare beauty captures early 1900's "Arts and Crafts" design.
Bed and Breakfast Description

Britta's Inn Bed and Breakfast, a 1914 restored "Craftsman" was designed by renowned architect John Wicks.
Cozy up to the fireplace or view the 1920's designed "green" garden through the bay window. Admire the 15' tall camellia and rhododendrons on fern hill. Azaleas and an 80-year-old wisteria compete for your gaze.
Designed for elegant comfort, this lovely living room, the "salon", will ease tension and strain. Recline in the chair or relax on the couch in front of the fireplace... or, if you must keep connected, use the high-speed Internet.
A full breakfast is served in the classic Craftsman dining room with whirled fir walls and leaded glass windows. On a warm day, enjoy the garden patio.
Created with the finest organic, local and natural ingredients, Britta's prides itself on healthy fare, with a delicate presentation. Breakfast times are flexible between 8:30-9:30am, with fresh fruit, juices, tea and coffee. Additional offerings include frittata, omelettes, Belgian waffles or Rona's Swedish pancakes!
Early morning coffee, tea and fruit are available.
Complimentary bottled water, fruit, cookies, and tea available throughout the day.
For your enjoyment, we have a collection of classic and contemporary DVDs; including movies made in the area, Oregon literature, local menus and regional things to do.

| "Britta's Inn was a beautiful home in the four-square tradition architecture. The garden in the back yard was breathtaking." - Inn Guest "Britt's Inn set itself apart from other B&Bs I've visited. It is not a cluttered old fashioned house, it is a beautifully restored and decorated Craftsman up on the hill with amazing views but still an easy walk to downtown Astoria." - Inn Guest |
