Bed and Breakfast Description

Steiger Haus is a classic European style B&B Inn, nestled in a beautiful park like setting near downtown McMinnville, Oregon. Built in 1984 on a large wooded corner lot, it is located conveniently near downtown McMinnville and Linfield College.

Peaceful, quiet and comfortable, our five guest rooms have private baths and access to the ivy covered deck and terraces. Relax on the deck or enjoy a walk through the garden filled with rhododendrons, wildflowers and other Northwest flora. Enjoy a breakfast that includes fresh berries, peaches and hazelnuts in season.

We now have a certified commercial kitchen and private dining space that is perfect for smaller events, business retreats, wine dinners, and cocktail parties.

At Steiger Haus, you can enjoy an afternoon on our secluded deck or relax in our large garden filled with bird feeders and home to many varieties of birds. We are centrally located for day trips to Portland, North and Central coast area, Willamette Valley points of interest, Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge. Steiger Haus is an easy walk from many fine shops and restaurants or a short scenic drive away from the best wineries in the Willamette Valley.

Start your morning in wine country with a leisurely sparkling brunch featuring seasonal local products and freshly baked goods, served in the "private sunporch". You will leave your car behind and set out on a guided walking tour of McMinnville's Historic downtown district.

Most Popular Rooms:

Morningsun Suite: Two room suite, French doors between sleeping and sitting rooms. TV/VCR, jetted tub, fridge, microwave, access to deck and large garden.

Treetop Suite: Queen bed, bay window, private bath, soak tub and skylight.

Reservation Notes:

A deposit of one nights lodging confirms a reservation. A charge of $25 will be made for cancellations with less than a week's notice. The deposit balance will be refunded, if the room can be re-booked. Failure to give notice will result in full charge for a reservation.
