As soon as you drive into Mariaville with its single traffic light and picturesque lake, you can begin to slow your pace. Stroll around our grounds, relax on a covered swing, or check out the lake from our private dock, complete with full use of kayaks and a canoe. Acres of nearby wooded trails offer hiking, and an impressive beaver dam is worth the walk. The view of the night sky is incomparable.

Lakeside lodging at its best, Mariaville Lake B & B is casual yet elegant, laid back yet with an amazing attention to detail. According to our guests, our 5 guestrooms are immaculate, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. Each bedroom has a view of the lake. Take advantage of an in-room massage, offered – with advance notice – by a local licensed Massage Therapist. Spacious common rooms exclusively for our guests, includes the Living Room, which offers the opportunity to quietly read by a roaring fire, relax, or make merry. Our glassed-in porch embraces the lake and sky even in inclement weather. Spend evenings by the fire year round - in summer and fall at the fire pit by the lake and in the winter and spring by our wood-burning fireplaces.

Nearby restaurants offer delightful choices for fine or casual dining and the nightlife of Albany is just a half-hour away. Area Attractions and Activities:

Summer in Mariaville brings some great music festivals and pure pleasure sitting on the lawn and watching the world go by. Two night minimum during these events and on some holiday week-ends.
Canoeing and kayaking on the lake is great fun as is riding bikes on nearby bike trails. Fall and Spring are absolutely gorgeous, and winter offers ice fishing, snowmobiling and a doze by the fire with a book on your lap.

We're close to antiques, caverns, farmer's markets and historical places. And only ten minutes from Schenectady, Union College, and Proctors.
Rent the Carriage House for the week and come and go as you please. Stay during racing season in Saratoga and enjoy peace and quiet. We're about 45 minutes away. Carriage House usually closed November through February or March

The Lakeview Room is decorated in the Federal style with casual elegance. It faces Mariaville Lake and features a fireplace, antique mahogany queen sized bed, large bathroom and a sitting area. A skeleton key opens your door.

The Country Room is done in lemon and fern with lots of light. Our most spacious room has a view of the lake and overlooks our lawns. This private, inviting room features a queen bed, antique mahogany twin bed, sitting area with direct TV, mini fridge.
