Bed and Breakfast Description

Located in the heart of the Historic District. All rooms individually appointed, with private bath and sitting area. We have a studio where we offer classes in yoga, massage, as well as retreats on a variety of topics.

Phoebe Pember House offers accommodations and retreat space in beautiful and sacred surroundings. Enjoy our 200 year-old Federal style Single House and carriage houses, relax on our piazzas that overlook private walled gardens, or retreat to the quiet of one of our private gardens. Architecturally and historically distinctive, this sacred space has been beautifully restored and offers some of the finest examples of hand-carved Adamesque gouge-work in the city.

Lovely silver tray breakfast served in room, on the piazza, or under the arbor. Wine and cheese on Fridays. Turndown service nightly.

The Coach House Queen: Wonderful ambience created by a cathedral ceiling with the original 200 year-old exposed beams and a decorative fireplace and a small sitting area. The room overlooks our walled garden area and arbor.
