 North East, PA is on the shores of Lake Erie, about 16 miles east of Erie. Light on the Lake B&B has beautiful, panoramic views of the lake and is right next to the North East Marina. A haven for guests seeking some time to quietly meditate on life, as well as those visiting family or seeking recreation. A range of breakfast fare is served from hearty to light. Light on the Lake is small and cozy with two guest rooms both with private baths and sitting areas. A two-bedroom apartment with a private deck is offered by the week. Area Attractions and Activities: The lake, beach, and marina offer all sorts of water fun including boating and fishing. Dining at the Crazy Parrot restaurant is a favorite experience for visitors and leisurely walks for relaxation. Light on the Lake B&B is near some excellent flat roads for cycling. Winter brings ample opportunity to enjoy Eries County's famous “lake effect” snow. Cross country and downhill skiing are both nearby – as well as backcountry snowshoeing. Erie County is well known for its wide variety of award-winning wines. Light on the Lake is situated in the midst of several wonderful and well-known wineries that produce a wide variety of award-winning wines. Tastings and tours are a popular attraction.
