Located on California’s scenic San Mateo Coast midway between Santa Cruz and San Francisco, Pescadero Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast offers a serene and tranquil country setting to escape life's hectic pace.

All the rooms in the recently rehabed farmhouse have a private bathroom, many with antique tubs. Relax in front of a beautiful stone fireplace in the century old farmhouse or lay in a hammock by the side of Pescadero Creek, which separates the Inn from the many shops in town.

You may bicycle to California beaches and redwoods, while Pigeon Point Lighthouse or elephant seals at Año Nuevo are a short drive away. Golfing, horseback riding, wine tasting, whale watching and fishing may all be found nearby. Within walking distance you will find restaurants offering California cuisine, mexican faire or pizzas from a wood fired oven.

In the afternoon join us for wine and cheese from nearby Harley Goat Farm. Our full sit-down breakfast of organic produce from our garden and fresh eggs from local farms will be one of the highlights of your stay.

The dream that began on a summer bicycle ride through Pescadero in 1991 was realized when Ken & Penny completed the rehab work and opened the Pescadero Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast in April 2003. Come join us for an experience like no other.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Located on the coast midway between Santa Cruz and San Francisco, our Inn offers a peaceful rest in an old town atmosphere. The crashing waves of nearby beaches may be heard in the evening along with the croaking frogs in the marsh.

Relax in front of the large stone fireplace in our century old farmhouse or lay in a hammock by the side of the creek that separates us from town. Decorated with period antiques, each room has a queen bed and a private bath.

Visit town shops offering unique gifts and be sure to try the artichoke garlic bread from Norm’s Bakery. Enjoy wood fired pizza or BBQ at the Country Store or chiopino and pies at Duarte’s Restaurant, winner of the 2003 James Beard National Culinary Award. Beaches and redwoods are a short ride away.

Take scenic Highway 1 towards Santa Cruz to find Pigeon Point Lighthouse, seals at Ano Nuevo Beach. A little north visit the eclectic San Gregorio Store, where on weekends you may sit by the pot-bellied stove and listen to live music.

The Garden Cottage had a private deck overlooking the creek & organic vegetable garden. Relax in front of the fireplace in sitting room or enjoy watching the sunset from the deck. A queen bed, lovely dressing table, & clawfoot tub adorn the bedroom.

The Rose Room with tall windows overlooking Bradley Meadow, is decorated in shades of rose, pink, and sage green. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub with shower. The wrought iron queen bed is topped with a comfortable down comforter.
