Waianuhea B&B

Honokaa, Hawaii.

Vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii! Getaway to a peaceful retreat in the tropical paradise that is the Hawaiian Islands.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Honokaa, Hawaii bed and breakfast: Waianuhea B&B

Whether you are planning a quiet weekend, Hawaiian wedding, honeymoon, anniversary, business meeting, or romantic getaway - Waianuhea is a luxurious alternative to a Hawaii hotel.

The Big Island is a treasure trove of things to see and do, especially for the nature and scenic lover. Waianuhea is an ideal place to begin your sightseeing day.

Nearby is beautiful Waipio Valley, where you can simply gaze at the stunning panorama from the lookout above or venture on down into the valley with a tour, on foot, or by four-wheel drive. Also nearby is scenic Laupahoehoe Point, craggy rocks and breaking waves, creating a beautiful backdrop for picnicking or simply relaxing.

A little further down the road on the way to Hilo is impressive Akaka Falls, highest accessible waterfall on the island, with a circle walkway tour that takes you past two waterfalls and through a gorgeous landscape of tropical plants.

Hilo, our main port town, has a lovely bayfront where you can usually see surfers or canoe paddlers. Continuing on, you can take a dip in the warm ponds of Kapoho.

Our suite, Kaulana Akea, has recently been enhanced with a private outdoor jacuzzi and gas stove!
