Bed and Breakfast Description

The Old Riverton Inn was originally an old stagecoach stop along the Hartford to Albany route, and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The inn's dining room is popular for miles around, and is open Friday through Sunday. Parties and meetings are held in the enclosed grindstone terrace and served by our Hobby Horse Bar.

The Old Riverton Inn boasts 12 novel guest rooms, each with private bath and cable television. We have a variety of room sizes and sleeping accommodations to suit you and all your special guests. In the colder months, enjoy the amenities of our deluxe suite by relaxing in front of the cozy fireplace. No matter what the season, Old Riverton Inn has the perfect room for you.

Most Popular Rooms:

Room 1: This room is smartly furnished with two twin beds; a matching Hitchcock bureau and night stand with an antique oriental rug. There is a door from the room to the side porch. The original wainscoting in the closet was replicated in the upper lobby.

Room 4 Suite: A large room with a queen canopy bed, Hitchcock table and chairs with matching bureau and desk. Antique sofa and chairs as well as a loveseat in front of the gas fireplace complete the room. A small fridge and bar sink add to the amenities.
