Bedford Inn is an elegant 1883 Italianate seaside inn that has an unusual double staircase, and lovely antique-filled rooms and suites. A full, memorable, breakfast and afternoon refreshments are served daily.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The Bedford Inn is near the beach & historic shopping district. Half-block to beachfront in center of boardwalk area. Limited on-site parking available.

Start off your day with a sumptuous breakfast shared with other guests in our dining room or take a tray to one of our porches and enjoy the fresh air. Breakfast is served buffet-style in our Dining Room between the hours of 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. Early-bird coffee is ready shortly after 8 a.m. Guests are welcome to join others at the family-style dining room table or take a tray to either the parlor or sunporch. We make every effort to arrange for any special dietary needs brought to our attention when you make your reservation. For those who wish, cereal and fruit is always available as a substitute.

Afternoon refreshments are offered from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. each day in our dining room. We have iced tea in the summer months and hot tea in the winter as well as homemade treats. This is a great time to visit with our other guests to discuss Cape May experiences, restaurant choices and to review our collection of restaurant menus.

Beach chairs and towels, showers with fresh towels, powder room available after check-out time, water filtration system, iron and ironing board available, free local calls and wireless internet access.
