Bed and Breakfast Description

Mornings here usually start with coffee and the New York Times in front of the library fireplace. Breakfasts are served in the sunny dining room and feature fresh baked cakes and muffins, special quiches or pancakes, fresh fruit, coffee or tea.

We know our city well and love to share ideas on how to make your visit enjoyable. We've been featured in Fodor's, Frommer's, National Geographic Traveler, Best Places to Kiss, and other national publications. Minutes to downtown, University of Washington, Seattle University. Two resident cats.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Take a walking tour of the neighborhood mansions, and stroll Volunteer Park, home of the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Interesting shops and restaurants are nearby, and the bus to downtown stops on the next block.

With Seattle's excellent transit system, a car isn't necessary, but parking is readily available and free.

Most Popular Rooms:

Blue Room, cozy corner room with private deck overlooking the garden. Queen bed, writing desk, large windows get the morning sun. Lovely bath with tile and marble, completely renovated in 2006.

Lavender Room: Large, sunny corner room with queen sleigh bed and bay window with window seat. Large wainscotted bath with 6 foot long soaking tub and separate shower.
