The Creole Gardens is our response to those travelers who are intrigued by the decoration, atmosphere and uniqueness of a New Orleans B&B, but who need to stretch their tourist dollars in order to enjoy as much time as possible in the Big Easy.

The Creole Gardens Guesthouse comprises two 1849 historic mansions and a two story servants' quarters, centered on a banana courtyard and fountain -- hugely popular with New Orleans wedding planners. Each of our 26 individually decorated rooms offers air conditioning, television, free high speed internet and of course, private baths (ensuite).

Steps from the streetcar, minutes from the Quarter, we're located in the Lower Garden District (one of the hippest neighborhoods in America, says Utne Reader Magazine).

Located in the historic Benjamin Palmer Manse. Enjoy the convenience of the Lower Garden District, one block from the streetcar line and minutes from the French Quarter, Convention Center, Museums and most attractions.

Walk to Emeril's Delomico, the Voodoo BBQ, the St. Charles Tavern and sushi. Two blocks from Magazine Street and its wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants. Wind through the Garden District and marvel at the grand historic homes of the old Spanish Quarter and Lafayette Cemetary, across the street from Commander's Palace.

The most decadent of all rooms, The Bordellos. Seven rooms individually decorated by Miss Karen, in hues of reds, violets, and burgundies, with velvet and silk to top.

Fun and funky slave cottages, around the banana tree courtyard. These fresh colorful rooms have the feel of the Old World with all the modern conveniences - high speed Internet access, cable TV, AC/heat, phones.
