Bed and Breakfast Description

1994 "Fodor's Choice" for SC. Overflowing with charming southern hospitality, this c. 1853 historic home skillfully combines old and new, offering six beautifully decorated bedrooms with four poster and canopied beds. All rooms have private baths, air conditioning and cable TV.

We are known for our hearty full breakfast. Let the aroma in the inn of fresh brewed coffee and homebaked sweet cinnamon muffins entice you. Enjoy a delicious breakfast served on the columned piazza, which overlooks the garden and fountain, or in the formal dining room.

In the afternoon, join us for tea in the Parlor featuring homebaked goods and tea sandwiches. Let us pamper you like only a South Carolina bed and breakfast can.

Fort Sumter, 6 museum houses, The Yorktown at Patriots Point, Plantations, the city "market," Charleston Aquarium, carriage rides, beaches, bikes (upon request), fine & casual dining, tennis courts.

Suite: Living room with camel-back sofa and wing chairs. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Master bedroom with queen plus a single bed (cot available). Large private bath with hand stenciling.
