The Lodge makes the perfect home base for exploring Historic Lexington, one of America's best small towns. John and Ellen Roberts, your hosts, are celebrating their 24th year of exceptional guest service in 2008.

All of the 3 Diamond rooms have private baths, unlimited high speed internet and A/C. Several have cable TVs. All beds have high quality and extremely comfortable Kingstown bedding. All rooms have thick exterior walls and thickly insulated windows, guests are always amazed at how quiet the interior of the Lodge is. Excellent lighting is provided for bedtime reading as well as alarm clocks.

Ellen's Blue Ribbon breakfasts are legend in the area. A menu is provided. Blue Ribbon omelets, eggs of any kind, Belgian waffles, Virginia maple syrup, meats, muffins, healthy fare and many more offerings are sure to help you get a great start on your day of exploring. The Lodge's screened gazebo offers private space for those wanting to read or relax.

John is a Lexington native who is sure to give you lots of help in getting the most out of your trip. He was born in the Stonewall Jackson House, once the town hospital and now a museum paying tribute to the famous Confederate General. Expert hiking advice along with maps and John's local knowledge is provided as well as tips on other outdoor activities such as canoing, golf, horseback riding, tennis and more. Scenic drives are also popular and tips and routes are offered in our special guest info books in all rooms.
