Old Lyme is located where the mouth of the Connecticut River meets the shoreline of the Long Island Sound. Just off I-95, only 100 hundred miles from New York or Boston.

The Old Lyme Inn is an elegant small hotel, ideal for weekend getaways or an extended stay. Guests from all over New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania tell us that they think of us as "New England Nearby". Our thirteen guest rooms are tastefully appointed, each unique and filled with antiques; many have canopy beds. Pets are welcome at the Old Lyme Inn.

Located directly across the street from the storied Florence Griswold Museum, and just minutes from the Beach, the Inn is also just a half-hour from Mystic Seaport, and fifteen minutes from two large outlet shopping malls. The Goodspeed Opera House is only 15 miles up the Connecticut River Valley in East Haddam, Connecticut. The Mohegan Sun Casino is only a half-hour away, and Foxwoods is just a few minutes farther.
