Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

The comforts of the Langdon House are enveloped in history. The three-story house, originally built back in 1733, is the oldest house in Beaufort that is run as a Bed and Breakfast. Rocking chairs on the first and second floor porches beckon you to "sit a spell," read a good book or watch passers-by.

The first floor dinning room, and four guest rooms are decorated in a colonial/federal atmosphere and furnished with eclectic antiques. The original heart pine floors still exist throughout the house. The restored house displays techniques and materials that span over 250 years -- from hand-forged nails and hand-wrought timbers to central heating and cooling. Beaufort's rich heritage has been woven into this house.

Relax on either of the two-story porches with hammocks and rockers. Sitting room and dining room with polished heart pine flooring. Three first floor guest rooms reflecting the traditional ambience of the inn with antique furnishings and decor, one Honeymoon bedroom on the 2nd floor, private bath with jetted shower and an inviting Jacuzzi both built for 2, with special features to either massage your back or just enjoy the relaxing hydrotherapy.

Candlelight breakfasts are served at the huge dining room table; two courses, fresh fruit beautifully served, house specialties alongside delectable accompaniments are sure to please. Personal preferences or dietary limits are gladly accommodated.
