The western shore of the Chesapeake Bay is rich in outdoor activity. Solomons is a leading sailing center on the East Coat of the U.S. In addition, people enjoy fishing, shopping, antiquing, hiking, swimming, windsurfing, and kayaking.

The area is also rich in fossils and a wonderful archaeological sight. Historic St. Mary's City. Enjoy the gardens at the Inn and visit nearby Annmarie Gardens which features fine sculptures on loan from the Smithsonian Institution.

Solomons Sunset: This 3rd floor suite offers spectacular views of the bay. Large windows, contoured ceiling and skylight create a spacious, airy grace. King, iron & wicker sleigh bed. Double whirlpool tub and non-wood burning fireplace.

"Islandscape": A wonderful private getaway. This room is located on the first floor of the carriage house with a private entrance, queen bed, private bath and whirlpool tub. A bay of windows overlooks the harbor providing a great view.
