Whether you've been to Vermont many times, or this is your first visit, you'll be happy you chose the Edelweiss at Snow Mountain Farms for your stay.

Located in a wooded setting, the Inn provides the perfect place for cozy weekends away from the hustle and bustle of everyday demands. While the Inn preserves the heritage of the past reminiscent of old Austria, we also provide many modern amenities for our guests' comfort.

We try to provide every possible comfort for guests. Amenities in all our rooms include robes, feather beds with European-style bedding, in-room phones, WIFi (Summer of 08),individually controlled heat.Baths have hair dryers and Caswell-Massey bath amenities. We offer 24-hour coffee service for guests as well as a guest refrigerator stocked with soda and juice. We also provide concierge services, small business services (Fax, overnight shipping, etc.), and there is standard (dial-up) connection to the internet. The B&B has satellite TV, a VCR, and a library of film classics. Current movies are available locally for those who want to rent them.

The Edelweiss serves Afternoon tea or happy hour refreshments each day on the upper deck in warm weather. On chilly fall days we invite you to be our guest in front of the warm fire in the great room.

The Edelweiss serves a candlelight Vermont breakfast each morning between 8 and 10 AM (earlier or later to the guests’ convenience). The Edelweiss serves dinner to guests with a 24-hour advance reservation.

For nature lovers there are many outdoor activities including four 18-hole golf courses for aspiring Master’s winners, as well as biking on country roads, hiking on parts of the Appalachian Trail, horseback riding at a local “ranch,” and walking tours of many of the small historical towns nearby.

For the music and art aficionados, there are several venues offering quality summer productions including the Dorset Playhouse, Marlboro Music Festival, Weston Playhouse, Wilmington Center for the Performing Arts, and the Manchester Music Festival.

For history buffs we offer a number of local museums such as the Bennington Museum and Grandma Moses Gallery, Bennington Art Center, and the Covered Bridge Trio. Many of the state’s historical sites are within an easy drive.

And finally, for the “Shop ‘Til you Drop” group there is unending shopping at the Premium Outlets in nearby Manchester, and a number of gift shops, galleries and antiques in the surrounding towns.

Most Popular Rooms:

Salzburg Suite: Space for up to four persons, with two bedrooms (queen and double), one bath, its own sitting room with fireplace, and private deck and entrance. Suite area fully equipped with refrigerator, coffee-maker, and satellite TV with VCR.

Mozart's Room: A lovely room with private bath, its own private sitting room with wood fireplace, a private deck and entrance. Decorated in soft pinks and green, has a queen size feather bed and a view of the surrounding wooded area.
