Bed and Breakfast Description

Built in 1896 as The Taconic school for Girls, this beautiful inn is located on an 11-acre hilltop in the Connecticut Berkshires.

Its peaceful and tranquil location just two hours from New York and three from Boston has made the Wake Robin a top destination in the Northeast. The Inn is especially popular with groups looking to celebrate special occasions, weddings and retreats.

All 23 rooms in the Georgian Colonial main building have private baths, telephones and cable television. They are tastefully decorated and offer views of the gentle landscape and surrounding woods.

The separate motel building, open May through October, has 15 private rooms. These also have private baths, telephones and cable TV, and offer the convienience of direct access to your room at any hour.

Complimentary continental breakfast.

After a day of relaxing or touring, groups will find that pre-booking Michael Bryan's Irish Pub and a private bartender on premises is a worthwhile expense.

Room 124: Our front-facing balcony room with a four poster queen bed. The room has its separate seating area and a small fridge. A personal coffeemaker is also in the room. Easily our most popular room.
