 Fox Creek Wilderness is truly a "magical place". You can experience the wilderness in modern comfort. This lodge-like building has an all around warm feeling. All of our Guest Rooms offer ensuite baths, queen beds, TV+DVD/VCR, hair dryers, and computer hook-up. With a touch of informal Mediterranean warmth and the brightness of a sunny Yukon day, each room is bright, elegant, peaceful, and private. In the Communal Living area you will find a small library and seating comfort. Other features you can enjoy are outdoor do-it-yourself BBQ, sundeck, garden, and very convenient private entrance. Guest services can include airport pick-up from September to May, Special Occasion Dinners by reservation at time of booking, and laundry facilities. English, French, and Italian spoken fluently. At present a cooked Full Breakfast is always included with your package. We can also prepare special, individualized breakfasts and Special Occasion Meals other than breakfasts. Please, give us details at time of booking. We obtain locally made food products and can serve Yukon fresh produce when available. The intensity of the Aurora Borealis varies depending on the situation. Generally speaking, the best period is Spring or Fall, peak times being from the beginning of September to the end of April. Area Attractions and Activities: Fox Creek Wilderness B&B is situated north of Whitehorse, Yukon, on the historic North Klondike Highway. It is a spacious log house on a hillside in the midst of wilderness. It has views of lakes, mountains and the Aurora Borealis. It's an absolutely Magical Place! Our Lodge like house has one of the best locations to view the Northern Lights. Located away from city lights and air pollution, the large expanse of forested property and surrounding wilderness makes for the clearest and unobstructed of views. No need to travel by vehicle, just pray for good weather! grab a hot drink, walk out the door and enjoy the Dancing Spectacle! We know the Yukon, therefore we can assist you in many other ways. Whether it be hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, fishing, photography, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or onsite aurora viewing, we are here to help you. Summer or Winter, there is always something interesting to do for the outdoors enthusiast or simply relaxing in comfort.
