Bed and Breakfast Description

The historic House On Main Street was known as the Victorian Tourist & Antique House in a by-gone era. It was originally constructed in the mid 1700's and was moved to this site, near where Fort Hoosac previously stood, around 1830. The house was visited by such famous personalities as President Woodrow Wilson, who enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner here in 1914.

There were many additions and renovations before it was fully remodeled in 1986, taking great care to preserve the quality features of the house. Today there are five spacious and airy bedrooms for our guests to enjoy.

Get everyone together for a Family Reunion. Have holidays with your whole family in picturesque Williamstown. Get the guys together for a golf outing. Spend a long week-end playing tennis with your favorite doubles couples.

No matter the occasion for your gathering, The House on Main Street is the perfect place, with a large country kitchen, fireplace living room and great sitting porches.

Rose Room: King size bed in a romantic room with a sitting area including a pull-out sofa-bed, a recliner and cedar closets, cable TV, private bathroom. Secluded on second floor.

Blue Room: A favorite of prospective Williams College students and parents. A double and a single sized bed, private bathroom. Located near the front of the house for easy access.
