Bed and Breakfast Description

This beautiful home was built in 1908 during the Arts & Crafts period on a bluff overlooking Vineyard Haven harbor. The house was home and office to the town doctor and family for generations before becoming a bed & breakfast in the mid 1980's.

This Martha's Vineyard Bed and Breakfast situated on two sprawling acres, stroll down the hill into the town of Vineyard Haven with its fine restaurants, galleries, shop and theaters. Just minutes from the Martha's Vineyard Ferry.

This beautiful estate was built in 1908 during the arts and crafts period on a bluff overlooking Vineyard Haven Harbor. The estate was home and office to the town doctor (4 in total) and their families for generations before becoming a Bed and Breakfast in the mid 1980's.

Our guests rooms have private baths, ceiling fans, cable TV, wireless internet, and Egyptian towels and linens. All rooms are air-conditioned, with lovely garden views. Some offer a fireplace and a canopy bed.

One of the features of our location is the accessability for the traveler coming for a short stay without a car. We are minutes walk to town and from the ferry, restaurants, sailing, tennis, health club, and beaches. We also offer bicycles for those slightly farther away destinations.
Another wonderful way to use the Doctors House is for small family reunions. We have 7 guest rooms and an abundance of indoor and out door common space. We can provide meals (other than the delicious full country breakfast already served) too!
