Bed and Breakfast Description

Applebrook is a comfortable B&B in a large Victorian farmhouse surrounded by mountains and forests. Located in Jefferson, New Hampshire overlooking the northern White Mountains including Mt. Washington.

We are open year-round and have 12 bedrooms, most with private baths. Two rooms have hot tubs available. We welcome large groups of up to 25 people and offer discount packages. We also do dinners for groups of 10 and larger.

We welcome families with children, well-mannered pets and maintain a non-smoking environment.

The spacious sunny living room has beautiful sunset views of Mt. Washington and features a goldfish pool surrounded by plants. Books, magazines, and a fire in our antique Round Oak wood stove complete the setting for a cozy evening to which you need only add some friends or family and perhaps a glass of wine or a good local microbrew.

After a restful night's sleep enjoy a hearty breakfast made by Joy and fresh baked goodies in the afternoon. Joy's cookies are now officially award wining for she won at the 2006 Lancaster Fair and the mix is now available for you to take home.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Close to four major New Hampshire downhill and cross-country ski areas (Bretton Woods, Loon Mountain, Wildcat, and Cannon Mountain). Snowmobiling, ice skating, or tobogganing. Fish the trout streams, hike the many mountain trails, or bicycle the back roads. We are also right next to the Waumbek Golf Course.
Golf an 18-hole championship course. Weathervane Theater throughout the summer. Hunt for antiques or laze at a spring-fed rock pool.

There are rivers nearby for canoeing or kayaking. And of course, the fall foliage is spectacular. For those traveling with children, Jefferson is home to Six Gun City and Santa's Village. Also, don't forget Story Land in nearby Glen, NH.

Enjoy magnificent mountain views from your own private deck with a 2-person spa! Nellie’s Nook contains a king-sized bed and private bath with shower. This room boasts a large balcony overlooking the mountains and is a favorite with honeymooners.

Our largest room has an alcove with a 3-person private indoor spa, king size bed and a private bath. Skylights in the vaulted ceiling of Sunset bring the stars to your pillow.
