Just 20 steps from the beach and adjacent to the San Juan Marriott and Casino, El Canario by the Sea is conveniently located in the heart of Condado, between the International Airport and cruise ship pier in Old San Juan.

Completely renovated May 2003. All 25 guestrooms are air conditioned, with cable/color TV, direct-dial phone, an in-room safe and a private bathroom. A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily in the garden courtyard. Free morning newspaper.

Stroll from El Canario by the Sea along Ashford Avenue and its side streets, and you will find a fascinating variety of clubs, shops, restaurants, casinos, and sports activities that have made the Condado famous. Old San Juan's historical city and shopping district is 3 miles away (75 cents by public bus). El Yunque Rain Forest is 45 minutes by car or tour bus.

Golf, scuba, snorkeling, fishing and many other activities are nearby. Our front desk staff can arrange tours and recommend popular restaurants to help make your stay enjoyable.

Most Popular Rooms:

Rooms are attractively decorated in rattan and wicker. Superior rooms are better situated in hotel. Some front rooms have a partial ocean view.

Receive $5 web booking discount. Reservation confirmation returned by email within 48 hours of booking. Credit card holds room but is not charged in advance unless for a one night penalty if canceled less than 4 days before arrival or no show.
