In the quiet beauty of these surroundings, in our clean and comfortable bedrooms, with good breakfasts and freshly brewed coffee, you will recognize the years of experienced B & B hosting that has become our trademark at Country Life B & B, near Saratoga Springs, NY.

Picture yourself in an 1800's farmhouse surrounded by the rolling hills of Washington County, gateway to the Adirondacks and a short distance from Vermont's best ski areas. Settle in and enjoy the most glorious sunsets east of the Grand Canyon while you browse through brochures, planning tomorrow's adventure.

In the morning, enjoy an ample and varied breakfast with a leisurely cup of coffee on the deck. Stroll around the pastures or through the pine woods alongside the brook. Take a ride with us in one of our antique autos, then set out on your own for a day of sightseeing.

Watch the sunset from the porch swing, listen to the peepers, geese, and the birds. Come and see over 54 species of birds. See deer, red fox, wild turkeys and snow geese. Play in the natural swimming hole with two waterfalls and a rock slide or walk the 30 woodland acres on the vast property.

Terrific restaurants and shops are nearby. Stroll Yaddo gardens, Saratoga Park and Battlefields. Easy side trips to Lake George and Manchester and Bennington, VT. Take in the museums in Albany and Glens Falls.

The Saratoga battlefields and monument are nearby, Yaddo gardens, 5 covered bridges, Hyde Museum, Hildene, and many other historic attractions close by. Go boating on Lake George or visit the discount shops there.

Many come here for birdwatching over 54 species.

The King: Bright, cheerful room with four windows, marbletop dresser, antique Oriental rug, king size bed & color TV. Listen to the sound of waterfalls in the distance. Thick terry robes to wrap yourself in while reading in a comfortable chair.

The Queen: An ensuite bathroom and sloped ceilings make it one of the most popular. Color TV and dressing table are additional comforts.
