Imagine stepping from the front porch onto 120 acres of unspoiled nature, where whitetail deer drink from a crystal clear stream and flocks of wild turkey glide in for twilight visits.

You’ve just imagined a getaway to Pine Hollow Inn Bed & Breakfast, only a scant mile from downtown Galena in northwestern Illinois.

Pine Hollow Inn is truly a daydream come true... close to town, but seemingly miles away. This contemporary retreat differs from many B&Bs because the owners, Larry & Sally Priske, live in their own separate house on the property - not in the Inn itself - which offers guests a level of privacy not often found at a B&B.

Five spacious suites, each with its own woodburning fireplace and private bath, are arranged around, and upstairs from, a large common dining room. Three suites have whirlpools, and one sports an old-fashioned clawfoot tub. The spacious Garden Suite has its own private little porch to help you chill out and enjoy life.

Secluded 120-acre setting offers guest the peace and quiet that is so rare in today's world, as well as hiking, birdwatching, and wildlife.

Galena is only a one mile drive and offers antiques, gift shops, historic sites and wonderful dinning. Skiing is only 6 miles away, three champion ship golf courses at Eagle Ridge as well as in the town of Galena.

A beautiful public swimming pool in Galena. The Mississippi river is only a ten minute drive from Pine Hollow Inn.
