We provide a special lodging experience with great hospitality for you and your family (including children!). At the Captain Briggs House B & B, we treat you like family.

We are located on a quiet side street, just three blocks from L.L. Bean and within easy walking distance to shopping, dining, and hotel convention centers. The Captain Briggs House is a beautifully restored 1853 shipbuilder's home, and the rooms are comfortable, bright and cheerful. All rooms have private baths and are air-conditioned, non-smoking and dog friendly.

We’ll start your day out right with a hearty full breakfast. The daily fare consists of fresh fruit, homemade pastries (i.e., coffee cake, breakfast breads), cereals, and a hot entree, such as Belgian waffles with link sausage, eggs Benedict with hash browns, various omelets and chef specials.
