Old Drovers Inn
Dover Plains, New York.
Old Drover's Inn, an historic upstate New York B&B offers guests a tranquil and heart-warming experience. A refuge for road-weary travelers in the Hudson Valley for over 250 years.
Bed and Breakfast Description

Our roaring fireplaces, extraordinary food, and beautifully appointed accommodations make for an unforgettable experience. We invite you to join us and see why Bon Appetit, Wine Spectator, Conde Nast, Johansens, and many more, have rated our historic upstate New York inn as one of the world’s premier hostelries.
There are seven individual rooms, each with a private bath and King size bed, and many with wood burning fireplaces.
Relax in the parlor by the open fire, or read a book in the library. Sit out on the porch and watch the sunset with a bottle of wine, or order it up to your room!
Guests staying at this upstate New York country inn can dine upstairs in a bright, elegant dining room. Travelers stopping for only a meal go to the below-stairs Tap Room, where from about 1750 and for the next 100 years, cattle drovers driving their herds to Manhattan found sustaining food and drink.
A good old-fashioned country breakfast is served to our guests in the morning. The Tap Room, our on site restaurant, serves delicious local game and fresh seafood.
Often our guests are looking for something above and beyond. Whether you are proposing marriage, celebrating a special anniversary or inviting your friends for a momentous occasion our team of professionals can take care of every detail!
