Bed and Breakfast Description

There are fifteen rooms at Twin Gables. The nine guest bedrooms offer affordable country accommodations, with modern conveniences and safety measures.

Bedrooms are decorated with period furnishings, original works by Woodstock artists, and hand-crocheted rugs. Also available by the day, week or month: sweet two bedroom, one and a half bath cottage.

A new addition to Twin Gables is our own in-house reiki master who has a wide variety of services including: reflexology, hot rock massage, shiatsu and intuitive readings. Appointments necessary and price list available upon request.

The Town of Woodstock and surrounding villages offer shopping and restaurants. Numerous art galleries and shops keep you busy with special treasures that you won’t find anyplace else.

Explore the culture and history of the arts and crafts colonies on a walking tour of Byrdcliffe or a trip to the Maverick. Catch a concert in the outdoor bandshell.

Bring your hiking boots and hike one of the numerous trails around the area. Overlook Mountain is one of the most popular.

Downhill and cross-skiing, snowboarding and other winter sports are always popular with several mountain destinations such as Hunter, Bellayre or Windham within a short drive from Woodstock.

The Catskill Game Farm is always a favorite with the kids as well as several places to go horseback riding. Swimming is always a treat at various swimming holes around town, all within walking distance of Twin Gables.
