Located in the heart of the historic New Orleans Garden District, surrounded by stately homes, grand oak trees, walled gardens and soft southern breezes. Just one block from St. Charles Avenue and its famed streetcar you will have easy access to all of New Orleans’ attractions and enjoy the Southern hospitality of innkeepers who are happy to help you make the most of your stay in the Big Easy.
The historic mansion designed by Thomas Sully in 1890 has eight rooms, ranging from an intimate bedroom to large suites, all with king or queen sized beds and private baths. In the entry, light filters through stunning, pastel-color stained-glass windows that are original to the house. The inn has fourteen foot ceilings with original plaster medallions, wide pine plank flooring, a large wrap around porch, antiques and many special touches embodying the grace and charm of a by-gone era yet with all the modern day conveniences.
The Sully Mansion Bed and Breakfast is the only licensed bed and breakfast in the New Orleans’ Garden District. Surrounded by magnolias and live oaks, the neighborhood is filled with Greek revival mansions and nineteenth century villas.
