Bed and Breakfast Description

The Rogers and Brown House B&B is a warm and charming historic home with modern amenities. It has been completely refurbished by the Innkeepers. The house and barn sit on an acre of property dating to 1680 with perennial gardens and a natural brook.

The B&B is featured in Country Sampler Magazine, January 2010, article "Bed, Breakfast and Beyond".

A perfect location for family events, romantic getaways, a personal retreat or a business trip. A short walk or bike ride to shops, galleries, restaurants, Crane's beach, museums and the train to Newburyport, Salem and Boston. One hour from N.H. & Maine.

Our guest rooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable heirloom furniture, crisp cotton linens, spa towels and new custom mattresses. The sunny, large rooms with private baths have soft, comfortable chairs and fireplaces. All rooms have AC, wireless Internet and flat screen TVs.

Enjoy a comfortable, restful evening and wake up to hot coffee or tea and a delicious, healthful, chef's breakfast. Breakfast is served in our federal dining room or on the garden patio

Innkeepers Frank & Johanne, a traditional folk artist, have filled their home, studio and shop with American Decorative Arts. Their Olde Ipswich Shop & Folk Art Gallery offers traditional folk art, country furniture, antiques, textiles, jewelry and seasonal decorations.

Our King suite is a large room tastefully decorated in warm reds and gold colors. Small adjoining room with double bed can be rented for accompanying guest. Private bath with classic deep tub/shower. AC, TV & wireless.

Our Federal Queen has 4 posted bed, oriental rug, working fireplace, comfortable seating. Stylish, cheerful room with AC, private bath & TV. Our third, smaller, country Queen room has custom bed, wall murals, private shower/bathroom, AC/TV Internet.
