Bed and Breakfast Description

Jackson, Missouri bed and breakfast: TLC Wellness B&B

Gus and I invite you to experience our type of hospitality... warm, relaxed and at home. Even though our 1905 Victorian house features turn-of-the-century quality, we think you will find our modern amenities comfortable. Browse through the guest rooms enjoying antiques, keepsakes, and a bit of history and learn about holistic health alternatives, plus get a massage from Trisha, who is a licensed massaged therapist. The B&B features four guest rooms, each with private bath and TV and a full breakfast. We are only minutes away from Cape Girardeau area attractions such as Southeast Missouri State University, Bollinger Mill and the Iron Mountain and Southern Railroad. Come; relax in Jackson's small town atmosphere.

The Mueller Haus was built shortly after the turn of the century by H. H. Mueller Jr. He and his wife, Rilla, settled into the merchant's home around 1910 and their only daughter, Millicent, was born here in 1912. After the death of H. H. Mueller Jr. in 1935, Rilla added an upper wing, which she converted to an apartment. She rented to young couples and continued living here until her death in 1968. Three other families owned Mueller Haus between 1969 and 1987. We purchased the home and began the Bed and Breakfast operation in September of 1988.

We prepare hand-picked fruits, home-baked goodies, and special gourmet entrees, all served in a fashion you will always remember. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know.
