Welcome to our farm... Rockwood.

This majestic home, constructed in 1876 by our great, great grandparents, the Francis Bells, is now breathing with new life as a bed and breakfast inn.

Located in a pastoral setting, this centennial manor speaks to us of the farm life of another era and the history of nearby battlefields. Approaching the estate through the shelter of large oak trees, tranquility warms us like a treasured family quilt.

Splendidly detailed rooms echo the elegance and grandeur of this historic home. The grand staircase ascends to the home's sleeping quarters where each bedroom features a working fireplace, sitting area and bath.

Our vision of bringing new life to this home by establishing a bed and breakfast inn and venue for weddings, receptions and other special occasions will soon be reality.

The Buchanan Tavern Room: With features of a suite, this deluxe room will give you a home away from home experience. Includes private bath, sitting area, dining area, and beautiful, bright and cheery, red, white and green decor.

The Bell Room: A grand room that includes a bay window and an entrance to the solarium. The king-size bed faces the working gas fireplace while the turret-like area houses a daybed and seating. The private bath is very spacious and is wheelchair friendly
