If you crave the beauty and serenity of nature, peace and quiet, privacy and a great get-away, our cottage is right for you.

The cottage sits in a clearing on 11 acres of woods, perfect for bird watching with hiking and walking trails. The only sound you will hear at night is the sound of crickets. You can just relax and swim in our big pool, enjoy a picnic with an outdoor gas grill by the cottage, or have access to many fine, inexpensive, off the beaten path restaurants in the area.

What we offer is a vacation experience you will want to repeat. The cottage itself has two bedrooms (a queen and the other with twins) and two hotel quality moveable beds. There is a comfortable living room with a monitor/VCR with tapes, and a phone to make reservations wherever you might want to go.

We have a fully equipped kitchen (including pots, pans, dishes, blender and coffee maker), and a full bathroom with tub and shower. Ceiling fans cool the bedrooms and there is a heating system for chilly nights. Quilts, linens and towels and provided. A canoe is available for trips along the nearby Susquehanna and Unadilla rivers and for fishing on Lake Otsego in Cooperstown.

We are child and pet friendly as well as a non-smoking establishment. Smoking is allowed outdoors only.

We are 15 minutes from Oneonta and just a short scenic drive from Oneonta to Cooperstown. We are within 30 minutes of Cooperstown, and closer to Dream Park (where the summer baseball tournaments occur).

Most Popular Rooms:

Queen Size Bedroom: 18C writing desk with Audobon pictures set against yellow walls and a grand leather club chair. Overlooks roses, daylily garden, old fashioned swing and picnic area. Plenty of dressers and closet space. Ceiling fan.

Forest View w/Twin Beds: Blanket chest with handpainted and carved checkerboard. This room is adorned with paintings, a closet, beautiful lamps and a breeze from the ceiling fan that calms you on those rare hot nights in July. Great reading chairs.
