Bed and Breakfast Description

Five guestrooms decorated with imagination in flower garden colors. All private baths, working fireplaces, A/C, cable TV/VCR, hundreds of popular and long out of print books.

Full, exquisite breakfasts served fireside on chilly mornings, or, in warm weather, on the piazza adjoining a walled garden of old roses and honeysuckle. Homemade jam from the front porch grape arbor. Breakfast breads and pastries baked in the Inns 1933 Magic Chef stove by a blue ribbon baker, and traditional breakfast entrees prepared with herbs from the Inns kitchen garden.

Cheney Brothers Historic District Preservation Award. Central location with easy access to Interstate highways. We are happy to welcome children over 13 years of age.

The Rose Suite: A favorite of brides and honeymooners. Master bedroom ornamented with 1930's rose wallpaper and pastel pink fireplace. King bed, sitting area, private sunporch with wicker furniture, dressing room, skirted vanity.

The Ivy Room: Our most secluded room, appointed with ivy and holly berry wallpaper and fireplace painted warm yellow. Queen bed, loveseat, overstuffed recliner, well stocked bookcases.

Reservation Notes:

Call us 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. to secure your reservation at one of the most romantic inns in CT. A deposit amount of one night's stay for visits up to 3 nights. One-half the total is required for longer visits. Full payment is due at the time of check-out. We accept personal checks, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, checks, traveler's checks, and cash.
