White brick Colonial built on land given to my forebears by General George Washington for service in Revolutionary War. Four tastefully decorated guest rooms with heirlooms and antiques, with fresh flowers for your pleasure.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The Hound & Hare is elegantly decorated in a tasteful Queen Anne style; a delightful ambiance for rest and relaxation. The guest rooms are resplendent with fluffy down comforters, eyelet sheets and down pillows, to enfold you in the warmth of yesteryear. Ask for the bridal suite with jacuzzi.

Time seems to stand still at the Hound & Hare. Come inside and experience the charm and grace of another era. Explore the splendid herb gardens, fragrant rose beds and visit the old fashion lily pond and fountain! Surrounded by giant pines and expansive lawns, peace abounds for all who enter.

Situated in the village of Cayuga Heights, a mile from historic Cornell University and a few minutes drive to either beautiful Cayuga Lake or shopping centers of the city of Ithaca.
