Bed and Breakfast Description

Mornings in the country are fresh and invigorating. Early morning joggers may spot a pheasant, rabbits, or other wildlife on the property with 6 acres to explore. There is a nice view of sunrise and sunset, and the stars in the night sky are an inspiring sight.

You may be greeted by our cats as you enter the house from the side porch. The entry room is decorated in Early American colors. Cool country breezes generally make the central air unnecessary.

The dining room features false grained wainscoting and a mid-1800’s farm table where a continental-plus breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, muffins or coffee cake, cereal, coffee and tea are served. Melons and berries from the garden are served in season. New friendships are often made during the lively conversations at breakfast.

Guests are welcome to relax in the parlor or the living room by the fireplace and enjoy satellite TV or listen to CD's from jazz to classical. Smoking is limited to outdoor areas.

The South Room: Tall windows provide views of surrounding farm fields and features a queen sized sleigh bed. The East Room has a private half bath and queen bed.

The North Room: With its antique twin sized sleigh beds, this room is convenient for friends traveling together or for the children when parents stay in one of the other rooms.
