We are a true Bed and Breakfast. This is our own home and have lived here for for fourty years. We brought up our 3 children here and know the area as only a native could. The Inn is on the origianla 1700's foot print and has only four rooms for guests

Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

The rooms include bath, phone, TV, A/C, ceiling fans and fireplaces - and those are just the basics in rooms decorated with tasteful Early American furniture. Add to that a rural country view of the gardens and vineyard, and you will know why our guests return time and again.
We grow on the premises a lot of what we cook and
every morning, a vineyard breakfast is served with a menu that changes with the season. Start with your fresh fruit and juice, coffee or tea, then enjoy raspberry cream pastry, blueberry buckle, apple coffee cake, surprise French toast, bacon, Inn fried potatoes, and scrambled eggs with your morning taste of our award winning wine, and you will know why "that's the best breakfast I have ever had" is echoed time and again.

Our Inn is located between the world's two largest casinos. Foxwoods to the east and Mohegan Sun to the south give you the opportunity to enjoy some of the fastest gaming available

Local attractions also include: Mystic Seaport, Mystic Marinelife Aquarium, antiques, local vineyard tours, the Nautilus Museum, Essex steam train, Gillettes castle, Mystic seaport, U.S Navy sub base, Coast Guard Academy, Pfizer research center, Conn College, UConn, University of Connecticut, birding, Mystik, RI, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, shopping, Inn at Harbor Hill Marina, Lonesome dove, Homespon Farm, Harkness CT, and electric boat.

Our town of 2500 borders on Franklin, Salem, Montville, Ledyard, Groton, New London, Norwich, Griswald and Colchester and is close to University of Connecticut, U.S Coast Guard Academy, Three Rivers, and Conn College. So enjoy a bit of a getaway when you attend a graduation.

The Claremont room: Features a queen canopy bed, fireplace, and 4 large windows upstairs. It overlooks the vineyard and New England countryside. The jason jet tub is a welcome relaxing retreat spot to enjoy a glass of our award winning wine.

We can't predict many things and have no control over the rest. Eight wedding proposals and acceptances in this, the Lathrop room, and only one in the rest of the Inn. Not engaged? Pick another room!
