Santa Ynez, California bed and breakfast: Edison Street Inn
The Inn, along with its'adjacent water tower, reminiscent of the town's earlier days as a ranching community and stagecoach stop, was designed to create a flavor of the Old West combined with eastern Victorian elegance, creating a perfect romantic getaway for couples seeking a brief respite from the rigors of daily life.

Guests will enjoy a sense of privacy at the Inn and are invited to experience one of four beautifully handcrafted rooms in the main house, each themed differently and providing an array of personal touches, with all the desirable amenities. The adjacent water tower houses the innkeeper's private guest cottage which is often available to returning guests.

The main house interior includes wallcoverings, mouldings, flooring and furniture reminiscent of the gilded Victorian era, set in the Old West. Guests will find many antiques and replications throughout the main house and guestrooms.

Upstairs guestroom balconies offer views of the township, nearby ranches and the Santa Ynez Mountains. The Inn's large wraparound front porch and rear yard gazebo invite guests to enjoy afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres, along with good conversation. Cooler afternoons will find guests huddled in front of the parlor's large stone fireplace.

The innkeepers invite guests to enjoy the beauty of the Santa Ynez Valley, which offers a wealth of attractions, including world class wineries surrounding the Township of Santa Ynez and to make the Inn a "home away from home!"

The Santa Ynez Airport offers glider rides in a piloted airplane. If you are looking for evening entertainment, try the Maverick Saloon.
