Bed and Breakfast Description

The Inn offers 16 guestrooms and suites, all with private bath, central air, television, and telephone. Most have high-speed wireless internet connections. Several rooms have fireplaces, many have porches, and all have been updated. Whether your stay is for one night, a week, or longer, we look forward to making it as enjoyable as possible.

The Golden Eagle Inn graciously welcomes lunch and dinner patrons in two magnificent dining rooms and a screen enclosed dining porch. The cuisine is regional American with a Colonial flavor, incorporating fresh, local food items as in the taverns of days gone by. The menus are seasonal to lend variety and to display our chef's talents. A selection of wines is available. Reservations for lunch and dinner are recommended. Banquet arrangements and menus on request.

Area Attractions and Activities:

The Inn is located on the Juniata River in downtown historic Bedford within easy walking distance of all of Bedford's wonderful specialty shops, theater, and museum. In addition to our wonderful downtown historic area, there are many attractions close by.

The Inn is within several miles of Old Bedford Village to get a glimpse of how early settlers lived. For the sports-minded traveler, the area offers several golf courses, tennis courts, bikes available for rent, and 30 minutes away is Pennsylvania's best down-hill skiing, Blue Knob.
