Blue Tile Beach House

The 4,800 sq. ft. house has a spacious main lobby with two spiral stairways leading to the two separate wings of the house. There are 6 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. A beautiful grassy courtyard extends to the white sandy beach.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Whether the purpose of your visit is to relax or explore the many activities on the island, the Blue Tile Beach House will welcome you with hospitality and comfort.

In one wing, there are two private oceanfront suites, with wraparound lanais and kitchenettes. In the other wing are three private bedrooms with common kitchen, dining, and entertainment rooms. Rooms can be rented individually or you can rent the entire house.

The beautiful grassy court yard extends right to the white sandy beach. Tavares Bay is a gorgeous swimming beach, windsurfing launch, and surf break. Our vacation rental is great for singles, couples or large groups. Our location is as centrally located on Maui as you can be to see the wonders of the entire island.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Within 1.5 hours is Hana and the Haleakala Crater Mama's Fish house is 1/2 mile away and Ho'okipa Beach State Park is 1 mile away. The town of Paia is 1/2 mile away. We can set up surfing lessons at any time.

There are many whale watching and snorkeling trips to take when you are in Maui. The Four Winds leaves from Ma'alea Harbor, which is about a 20 minute drive from our place. They provide all the snorkel gear and lessons, and during whale season, you are guaranteed to see lots of humpback whales. The morning trip leaves at 7:30 am. The afternoon trip leaves at 1:00 and serves lunch.

Our small surf town of Paia has a multitude of fabulous restaurants including French crepes, gourmet Mexican cuisine, fresh island fish, and much more. There are plentiful boutiques, galleries, and shops as well!

We send most of our guests to the beaches on the south and west sides of the island for a change of pace, each approx. 30 min. away.

Most Popular Rooms:

Ground Floor Beachfront Suite: Is bright and airy, with a queen bed and a queen futon couch in the TV area. There is a private bathroom and a kitchenette as well as a sauna and whirlpool tub. Amazing view!

The Sunset Room: Is very bright with a queen bed, ocean view, and a large sliding glass door going out to the lanai. View of the beach and the West Maui Mountains, sitting atop the banana patch and plumeria trees. There is a large private bathroom.
