Atherston Hall B&B
Urbanna, Virginia.
Nestled one block away from the main street and the harbor, Atherston Hall is just around the corner from all Urbanna has to offer. The elegance of English country living in the heart of historic Urbanna. Wonderfully restored. Great hospitality.
Bed and Breakfast Description

Step through our door and walk in to a charming piece of historic Urbanna, VA. Atherston Hall was built in 1880 for a local schooner captain and his family and restored in 2005.
Copper fountains, hand-hewn fences and benches combine to make the outside of the inn as graceful and welcoming as the rooms within. Designed to an early Virginia style, roses, azaleas, hydrangeas and perennial flowers fill traditional boxwood parterres, perfect for quiet conversations or for a special gathering of friends.
On our cupboard you will find home made granola, yogurt and honey. At our table, you will find one or two warm homemade offerings, a freshly prepared carafe of coffee or fine english tea, croissants or morning yeast rolls. Some of our latest favorites include: Traditional Eggs, Bacon and Toast, Waffles with Caramelized Bananas, French Toast with Seasonal Berries, Mushroom, Bacon and Tomato Crepes, Smoked Salmon Frittata,
Our Sailboat "Victorious" is available for day sailing and events, please contact us for rates and availability. We now have a motor/sailboat called Trgeony which is wonderfully elegant and comfortable. Bill is a licensed captain whose passion is sailing!
The four bedrooms are wonderfully comfortable with fine beds and beautiful linens. The attention to detail is second to none.
The English gardens and the house were part of the Virginia Garden Tour for 2008.
The two labradors - Abbey and Savana will welcome you on arrival!
