Overlooking downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The WhiteGate Inn offers today's comforts with yesterday's ambience. The Inn is furnished with family antiques and collectibles.

The distinctive guestrooms in the Inn, each honoring distinguished American poets, feature private baths, air conditioning, and queen size beds. The rooms are each uniquely custom decorated, reflecting different period styles, including English, Arts and Crafts, and Victorian.
Poetry volumes by each featured poet are included in each room.

The WhiteGate Bungalow is child and dog friendly. The Bungalow suites have full kitchens and breakfast items are stocked for guests to prepare breakfast.( Breakfast in the Inn is NOT included)

Most Popular Rooms:

"Luxury." Private entrance, sitting room, large bedroom with a king size bed, wet bar, refrigerator, coffeemaker and see-through gas log fireplace for the bedroom. Elegant bath with two-person Jacuzzi tub and separate two-person steam shower.

Robert Frost Room: Original master bedroom. 4 poster featherbed, plush pillows, down comforter & duvet, tailored in 18th century mahogany furniture, original fireplace dating back to 1889 equipped w/gas logs, original master bathroom w/tub & shower.

Reservation Notes:

After checking the availability, please go to the "RESERVATIONS REQUEST" page at https://availabilityonline.com/res_form.asp General notes... A deposit of one night's rate per room is required at the time of the reservation, for a one to three night stay; for four or more nights and special packages, 50% of the total is required at time of the reservation. Reservations made 14 days or less prior to arrival will be charged in full and are non-refundable. Deposits may be made by credit card, money order or personal check. If notification of a cancellation is received at least (14) days prior to the arrival date (30 days notice for certain special packages and the month of October), the deposit is refundable less a $35.00 cancellation fee per room. Deposits are non-refundable for reservations cancelled after the cancellation deadline. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged the full amount of the reservation. Early departure falls within our cancellation policy. There are no refunds for early departure. We reserve the right to treat a partial cancellation as a cancellation for the entire stay. *Payment for scheduled Spa treatments and massages are the responsibility of the guest unless cancelled 24 hours Prior to their appointment.*
