Bed and Breakfast Description

Weekly rates are negotiable.

The Barnes, our honeymoon suite with a queen sized bed, is on the 2nd floor. Antique moldings, high ceilings and a huge window overlooking the garden. A large, comfortable room with armchairs, plenty of room to work or relax. Huge bathroom with a Jacuzzi for two and a separate stall shower.

The Madeline Suite: Oak paneled with an exquisite plaster ceiling, chandelier and built-in antique cabinetry on the 2nd floor overlooking the street. The bathroom has a double vanity and a large, deep cast iron tub.

The Cecilia Suite is on the 3rd floor overlooking beautiful 93rd St. Plenty of room for a rollaway bed for a third guest. Large sitting area with a love seat and two armchairs. Antique cast iron tub.

The Fox Suite is on the 3rd floor. Antique detail, with a non working fireplace. Overlooks beautiful rear garden. Outdoor deck with seating, king bed or 2 twins if required, 2 person Jacuzzi tub.

The Apartment is on the 4th floor. Queen-size bed in a separate bedroom and fold out couch in the living room. Custom, fully equipped modern kitchen, large bathroom with whirlpool tub. Skylights and big arched windows.

Guestrooms (2): On the fourth floor in the rear. Queen sized bed, TV, microwave and refrigerator. Shares a clean bath in the hall with one other guest room.

Carnegie Hill is a landmark, historic neighborhood on the fashionable Upper East Side's Madison Avenue. It has many small top class restaurants and exquisite boutiques, and Fifth Avenue is the famous Museum Mile. Within a five-minute walk you can visit the Guggenheim, the Cooper Hewitt and the grandest of all, the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Every service you need from drugstore to dry cleaner is on your doorstep.
