Ashtons B&B, an historic New Orleans Bed and Breakfast offers luxury New Orleans lodging in the charming Esplanade Ridge Historic District, just nine blocks from the French Quarter. Our knowledgeable innkeepers are New Orleans natives, Patrick and Karma (and their lovely New Orleans inn) weathered the storms of Katrina to once again make all visitors planning a New Orleans getaway feel at home.

The inn's eight comfortable and luxurious guestrooms are tailored made for any guest to kick-back and enjoy Creole hospitality and Cajun cooking. Breakfasts are decadent and plentiful, offering the best New Orleans Creole and Cajun recipes.

This center-hall Greek Revival mansion, which expands 10,000 square feet across the grounds, was built in 1861 for A. B. Charpantier, just before the outbreak of the Civil War. Lush greenery and an arched wrought-iron gate welcome you onto the wide front veranda – a great place to enjoy a cocktail or cigar.

Inside the main house, fifteen-foot ceilings, key doorways, spacious rooms, and fine furnishings tell you this is no ordinary dwelling. Relax in the beautiful parlor, with its original carved marble mantel and magnificent chandelier; or wander the gardens and discover the sprawling patio and the majestic 300-year-old ancient oak tree that shades the rear yard. The famous French Quarter and the magnificent City Park are very close at hand.
