Built in 1878, this grand Victorian lumber baron's mansion is known for exceptionally large rooms with fireplaces, whirlpools, and ornate woodwork. Admire magnificent views of the St. Croix Valley from the tower!

Located just 20 miles east of St. Paul and only a few blocks from downtown Stillwater, this historic mansion offers all the metropolitan conveniences and the peacefulness and safety of a small town in Minnesota.

This 7,000 square-foot mansion boasts a history that reflects the early history of the Stillwater area. Jacob Bean, a partner in the thriving Hersey, Staples & Bean Lumber Company first owned the mansion and the extensive grounds. Today, Ann Bean Mansion B&B offers an elegant setting for couples' escapes, weddings and corporate events.

Each guest room is spacious and quiet, with private baths, whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. The large double parlor is yours to read, relax or play the grand piano. A four-course breakfast awaits you in the formal dining room or choose to have breakfast brought to your room.
