Bed and Breakfast Description

The Inn sits on a beautiful 25-acre meadow bordered by two brooks and a nature path. There are 27 newly renovated, non-smoking guest rooms with private baths. Each room has been carpeted, papered and charmingly decorated with antiques and prints. Enjoy a pleasant view of forest, mountain or meadow from every room.

All meals are cooked "from scratch." A Vermont country breakfast starts each day. During winter, our optional four-course dinner is served by candlelight in front of the wood burning stove.

Relax by the fire in our BYOB bar while playing pool or watching our large screen TV with surround sound. Enjoy a game of ping-pong, a sauna or a quiet hour of reading in our library. In summer, two flower-filled decks and our new 64' outdoor heated lap pool overlook the meadow. Also new is the addition of an outdoor jetted Hot Tub! All are perfect spots to reflect on your day.

Our large living area with its cathedral ceiling, grand piano and immense fieldstone fireplace is a cozy place to gather for music and conversation. The Mountaineer's unique floor plan places common areas totally apart from guest rooms allowing a peaceful night's rest for all.
