Lakeport English Inn is a delightful B&B, and no passports are needed here. Located in beautiful Lakeport, CA, with the best of Britain: scones with Devonshire cream and jam, English roses, darts, billiards, shopping and a library.

Bed and Breakfast Description

All guest rooms have high-speed Internet access, telephones and TVs. Some rooms have DVD, VCR and CD players. Each room offers bath amenities from Asquith & Somerset made in Belgium.

We offer breakfast in the Tea Room until 10:00 am each morning. Beginning at 7 am, the buffet is set with coffee, juices and our special cereal.

The Tea Room features a stunning mix of antiques to create a Victorian tearoom like the London's Ritz Hotel. The only difference: at Lakeport English Inn, you are encouraged to wear your jeans. In London, they won't let you in the hotel wearing jeans!

The Game Room features a billiard table, game tables and lot of magazines and books. The Public Library will feature a wine and brew tasting area and is modeled after a pub in Nottingham, dart games and all.

The English Garden, patterned after the borders of Sissinghust Manor's gardens, is lovely all year long.

The Grand Tour Gift Shop features items from England, Europe, and everywhere. It is also full of antiques that could not fit into the Inn. The King George Red Telephone Booth is from England and can be used for pictures or calls. The Village Post Office can be used to send the complimentary notes and postcards from Lakeport English Inn to friends and family.

Two large rooms are available to guests and the public for workshops or retreats. The Game Room easily seats 50 to 60 people. The Tea Room can seat up to 20 and can be divided into two smaller rooms.

Most Popular Rooms:

The William Shakespeare Room: Queen-sized canopy bed, dressed in stately greens and gold. Generous 12-foot ceilings enhance the room. One simply has to step out the French doors to enjoy the beautiful views of Clear Lake.

The Roll in the Hay Room: This room has shades of straw yellow and field green reminiscent of the farmlands of England. An antique bed faces the looking glass mirror. The private bath has the original claw foot bath with a sunflower showerhead.
