The Waitsfield Inn is the centerpiece of the Mad River Valley, offering gracious lodging, relaxed ambiance and hearty breakfasts in an elegant restored 1825 Vermont Farmhouse and Parsonage.

Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Waitsfield, Vermont, the Inn is within walking distance of quaint shops, wonderful restaurants as well as an abundance of activities. As our guests you will be able to experience the quintessential Vermont mystique at the Waitsfield Inn.

Each of our guest rooms are Antique filled with quilts and down-filled comforters to keep you comfortable and warm at night. All our rooms have private baths for your privacy and most have air conditioning in the summer for a perfect nights sleep.

Relax in our Library nook or Great Room after a day of activities. Both rooms are complete with fireplaces. The Great room has a TV/VCR, games, and complimentary wireless Internet access great for catching up on email or just playing games with the family.

Come in the summer or fall and enjoy the Farmers Market located across the street every Saturday from 9AM - 1PM Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Sample fresh produce from local farms, gift ware from talented artist, taste cheeses from world renowned cheese makers, or just have a picnic and listen to the music from the weekly entertainment. All makes for a wonderful day and fantastic memories.
Area Attractions and Activities:
This winter, come ski Sugarbush and Mad River Glen two of the best mountains in the East. Cross country ski at Ole's or Blueberry, snowshoe, sleigh ride or just take a walk outside, the views are amazing. Check out our Stay & Play packages.

This summer come and hike the Long Trail or Camels Hump, mountain bike, cycle, canoe, kayak, horseback riding, swim in our local water holes or go gliding we have it all in the Mad River Valley!

Like to shop? The Valley is known for being an artist community. We have pottery makers, glassblowers, quilters, painters, and sculptors. Come and see the amazing works of some very talented people.

Don't forget to enjoy all the culinary delights of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, Cabot Cheese, and Cider Hollow good to anytime of the year. The Valley has casual dining as well as fine 5 star dining to accommodate everyone’s taste buds.

Most Popular Rooms:
Richardson and Milton are our two loft rooms with exposed barn beams, and were once part of the original carriage barn of the house. They each contain one queen size bed and two twin beds in a loft with private baths. Great family rooms or ski rooms.
The Great Room: Has 5 couches, 2 tables for games, books, CD player, TV with VCR, and a large crackling fireplace. The Nook is perfect for curling up with a good book and a glass of wine. The room also has a fireplace.
