The Captain's Manor Inn

This 1849 plantation style home brings sophistication to a relaxed atmosphere. Corner guestrooms with in room private bath and comfortable sitting areas, spa robes in each room, full breakfast and afternoon treats will make your stay unforgettable.
Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

Secluded setting on over an acre of park-like gardens off the Falmouth Historic Green. Eight comfortable corner guestrooms with either king or queen size beds, pleasant seating areas and in room private baths with showers and some with tubs and fireplaces. Spa robes and amenity packages are in each room as well as flat screen TVs.
A full breakfast is served in the beautiful large fireplaced living room or, weather permitting, on the veranda. Each day fresh fruit, yogurt with granola, cereals, juices, and a hot entree are served. Coffee and tea are available any time day or night.

Area Attractions and Activities:
Walk to beaches, shops, ferries. The Shining Sea Bike Path is nearby - rent a bike and go for a ride. Martha's Vineyard ferry shuttle is less than a quarter of a mile away so take a day trip to the Vineyard.
Whale watches are also within driving distance. Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is nearby - take a tour or stay here if you're visiting them. Dinner theater as well as traditional theater close by. Tennis and golf are nearby.
For a change of pace, take the Cape Cod dinner train one night - reservations needed in advance! You can even take a drive to Newport, RI and see America's Castles in about an hour. Plimouth Plantation is about a half-hour's drive from the Inn and Boston is about an hour away. Use the Inn as your home base for all these nearby attractions!
Most Popular Rooms:
The Nye en suite bathroom features a large 3 x 5 foot tiled shower with rain shower head. A lovely queen canopy bed with pillow top offers a wonderful night sleep. The eastern window features a petite window seat and view of the historic village green.
The Forbes second floor room features a queen sleigh bed with pillow top mattress. This room also features a 3 x 5 foot tiled shower with rain shower head. This room is guest favorite with its views of the front gardens and corner room location.
