Experience heavenly relaxation in these charming, modern cabins that sit on the beautiful shores of Resurrection Bay, just south of Seward Alaska. Wildlife & scenery are amazing. These cabins are among the nicest places to stay anywhere!

Bed and Breakfast Description

Angels Rest on Resurrection Bay offers the only fully modern waterfront cabins in all of Seward.

Lynda and Paul work extremely hard to make your stay as wonderful as possible, offering a total of three cabins, two on the waterfront and one in the woods nearby. These cabins are tiny homes away from home!

All cabins offer kitchenettes with small refrigerator, 2-burner propane stove, microwave, toaster. All linens and cooking utensils are provided including BBQ grill and ice chest.

The waterfront cabins (the Wing Cabin & Gatehouse Cabin) sleep two in one queen bed, and offer incredible views of scenery and wildlife. They have private access to the beach. Both cabins have covered porches so you can sit outside regardless of the weather.

The Gatehouse Cabin is also wheelchair accessible!

The Hobbit Loft, in the woods nearby, is a 2 bedroom unit for small families. This unit is perfect for the small & short. Optimum height is 5'8" - 5'10"; there are vaulted ceilings and 6' doorways. Queen bed in the master bedroom; the optional 2nd bedroom with two twin beds is available if separate sleeping quarters are desired. Maximum number of guests in unit is four. This unit is just a short walk (500 feet) to the waterfront. Although large enough to accommodate a small family, this unit is also a favorite with honeymooners who want to be away from it all! Outside there is a small garden with fire pit & covered BBq

Area Attractions and Activities:

Don't just make Seward a part of your Alaska vacation; make it your vacation! Spend at least 3 or 4 nights, if not a week or more, in order to take in the extensive list of activities available! Plus, the cabins are so special, you'll want time to just relax!

Here are a few of the possible activities to choose from: a visit to Kenai Fjords National Park, both via a boat tour and via Exit Glacier, one of the few glaciers you can walk right up to, fishing, both fresh and salt water, kayaking, dog sledding, summer and winter, hiking, wildlife viewing, a visit to the Alaska SeaLife Center, horseback riding and flight seeing.

Most Popular Rooms:

Both our waterfront cabins are extremely popular. The brand new in 2004 Gatehouse Cabin, wheelchair accessible, has a queen bed. The Wing Cabin nearby, also has a queen bed. The views from both cabins are spectacular! Both cabins have covered porches.

The Hobbit Loft in the woods nearby is a 2nd story 2-bedroom cabin with a queen bed in the master bedroom. This cabin is best for the short & small as there are vaulted ceilings & low doorways. The optional 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds.
